Ivonne is a Catholic writer and speaker, Lay Associate of the Blessed Sacrament, president and co-founder Elisheba House. She is the author of The Rosary: Eucharistic Meditations and shares reflections to help others grow closer to Jesus through the Eucharist. 
​Ivonne writes regularly for the Elisheba Blog, the Center for Eucharistic Evangelizing’s Daily Eucharistic Reflection, and CatholicMom.com. She has also been published in Emmanuel Magazine, a publication of the Congregation of The Blessed Sacrament, and Shalom Tidings. She is wife to Rick and they live in Trinity, Florida, where they lead the OCIA program at their parish, St. Peter the Apostle. Together they have three young adult sons. Ivonne loves to sing and is a member of The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay.

Being called by God to do His work, Puerto Rican-born Ivonne Hernandez envisioned it would be a very clear, loud, and defining moment. She hadn’t had that! She was a wife and mother of three with a career as a computer engineer, whose life had all the normal challenges. What she found is sometimes God’s call is just a tap, just a nudge. If you follow , it will lead you on a journey of growth revealing a life designed for you, by God, at the beginning of time that you could have never imagined for yourself.

Ivonne responded to nudge after nudge that guided her from non-practicing Catholic, through a debilitating illness, to collaborating on establishing the Elisheba House, a Catholic apostolate whose mission is to make known the love of God present in the Eucharist; and authoring “The Rosary: Eucharistic Meditations”. Hers is an amazing story of how she continually “rested in the Spirit,” faithfully opening her ears and heart on how God wanted her to serve.
