By Laura Worhacz We continue to give you thanks Exalted Daughter of Sion! Consecration to Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament MARY! "O STRONG ONE" St. Peter Julian Eymard St. Peter Julian Eymard's words: "Mary adorned with all gifts, enriched with all virtues, incomparable in merit appeared to the world under a most ordinary exterior.... Mary was to be an illustrious model of the hidden -life a life hidden in God with Jesus Christ- a life which we should strive to honor and faithfully copy in our conduct. I wish to show that the law of holiness which God follows in our souls, is the very same that He followed in Mary. " [Eymard Library, Vol. 7 Page 54] As a consecrated child it should come natural for us to long to return our Love for God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We will walk with Mary in all we do. She will help guide our lives. We will want to bring witness to our love for Jesus through her. We will adorn her altars, make Marian feast days special, especially May 13 when we celebrate Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament in the Catholic Church. We will long to bring others into a relationship with our Mother whom we love. Mary's consecrated children will come from her womb to be held by her hand. This consecration will serve the Priesthood with the greatest of Blessings to consecrate their Holy Order to Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. Any vocation will be blessed and guided to the fullness of its duties by this consecration. Offering one's life is the consecration in totality. If one should ask you, what is it, consecrating your life to Jesus Christ through Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament? The answer would be: Surrendering your will over to the WILL of God, making Him the center of your life. Entering into a life of union through prayer, love and ultimately service. We, Mary's consecrated, are given an ever greater awareness that we are helping her in leading God's children back to Him. Jesus Christ the Redeemer of our humanity remains with us in the Bread of Life that has come down from Heaven. He remains with us for the salvation of all. Our lives conform to the life of Jesus Christ truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. Our mission is to bring all to the Holy Eucharist to heal the incurable wound we all have without HIM. Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, lead your children to the Bread of Life, for the whole world is looking for JESUS! With Mary's gifts and virtues passed on to her consecrated children we will live a hidden life of union with our Divine Savior, Jesus Christ. St. Peter Julian tells us that the law of holiness which God follows in our souls, is the same that He followed in Mary. This hidden life will manifest itself from the interior to the exterior of our beings, the Divine interior will bring Jesus into the world and draw others to want to faithfully copy our conduct. Grateful daughter of Mary, Laura The Magnificat The Prayer Of Mary My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name. He has mercy on those who fear him in every generation. He has shown the strength of his arm, he has scattered the proud in their conceit. He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. He has come to the help of his servant Israel for he remembered his promise of mercy, the promise he made to our fathers, to Abraham and his children forever. Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Blessed are you, Mary exalted daughter of Sion! You are highly favoured and full of grace, for the spirit of God descended upon you. We magnify the Lord and rejoice with you for the gift of the Word made flesh, bread of life and cup of joy. Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, our model of prayer in the cenacle, pray for us that we may become what we receive, the body of Christ your son. Amen
