Many of us have been blessed to make a formal and public consecration promise to Jesus through Mary. Each year in preparation for this perpetual vow a preparatory method of reading and reflections is used. If this is your first year to make a consecration promise there are 33 days of study to conclude with the recitation of a promise to Jesus through Mary. There are many times to begin and complete on a Marian feast day. However, we chose the greatest of all days, the Incarnation, to recite the promise. There is reading to do to prepare our hearts to make a consecration promise. We call this A METHOD OF PREPARATION. This year we will be using the book, OUR LADY OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT, Eymard Library, Vol. 7. to prepare for the Consecration. The readings begin on February 20, concluding on the Feast of the Annunciation, March 25. We will come together to recite our consecration promise on Saturday, April 1 at St. Vincent dePaul, RCC after the 8:30am Mass. For those of you who do not have a copy of the book, the following link has an online version that you can use. http://archive.org/stream/monthofourladyof00eymauoft#page/n3/mode/2up HOPE YOU WILL BE JOINING in this very special devotion. No one knew the way to the way of God's great Love more than Mary, she teaches us year by year to grow more in Love with HER SON who is JESUS! -Laura
