Consecration to Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament

St. Peter Julian Eymard's Words:


"It is to our best interest to honor with a particular devotion the life of Mary in the Cenacle, altogether given up to the service and glory of the Eucharist. We must try to catch something of her spirit and love, in order to render our Divine Savior present in our midst, a worship of adoration more pleasing and more perfect, in union with that which his most holy Mother offered Him. to become good servants of the Eucharist, we must be docile and devout children of Mary. The Annunciation of the Lord to Mary is a favored time to conclude 33 days of preparation to consecrate your life to Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament. This great Solemnity is when the word became FLESH, and dwelt among us. Mary's YES to become this Mother of the Blessed Sacrament redeemed the world by Jesus Christ Incarnate in her womb. Incarnation means "Becoming Flesh." We too are invited to have the Body of Christ Incarnate, the living God, in us. We strive for this by the way of Mary for she was the first to live with Jesus Incarnate in her womb and will lead us our whole life long with the desire to stay close to the Holy Eucharist. Our good Mother knows we need the nourishment for our souls. We die without JESUS. If you choose another Marian or Saint feast day to conclude your consecration that is perfectly fine; simply begin 33 days prior to the day you choose. Once you have made your consecration it would be advised to renew your promise on special days or, if you are so inclined to, you may renew daily by offering a special prayer. You may choose to recite the prayer to Our lady of the Blessed Sacrament daily as a holy reminder of your consecration promise. Jesus' Incarnate life lives through the adorers of the Blessed Sacrament, who Receive Him, allowing their lives to become a living prayer. Mary was the perfect adorer of Jesus Christ for the spirit of God descended upon her. Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament will lead all in the way of salvation, all we need to do is have recourse to thee.

Remember the words of St. Peter Julian to try to catch something of her spirit. Whichever time you choose to prepare and conclude your consecration preparation it should always bring you to the Blessed Sacrament as a grateful adorer of Jesus Christ.

The Prayer Of Mary

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior
for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant.

the Almighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his Name.

He has mercy on those who fear him

He has shown the strength of his arm,

Blessed are you, Mary exalted daughter of Sion!

You are highly favoured and full of grace, for the spirit of God descended upon you.
We magnify the Lord and rejoice with you for the gift of the Word made flesh, bread of life and cup of joy.

Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, our model of prayer in the cenacle, pray for us that we may become what we receive, the body of Christ your son.
