On this final day of preparation we will ponder a few thoughts before we enter into the daily reading. Week I, the theme will be "MARY! TEACH US THE LIFE OF ADORATION!" Mary teach us to pray! We go into Her maternal womb, the same womb that carried Jesus, the Son of the Living God! We will begin the daily readings tomorrow. As you start each chapter begin with a conscious effort to offer the reflection specifically for your consecration promise. Penetrate into this devotion with the imagery of Our Lady carrying you, ultimately into the presence of God, making your life a perpetual offering. Even if you are a daily adorer or daily Communicant She will take you yet closer to the Heart of the Eucharist throughout the consecration days. What matters to God is where you are right now. Be committed to His Will, to where He will take you through your yes in the desire to know JESUS evermore through Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. "Let your Yes be Yes!" Matthew 5:37 Pray for Our Lady's intentions, by this we become true children of Mary. Please try to journal through the readings. Do NOT stress if you fall behind catch up when you can and let nothing stop you from participating. Please recite the Veni Creator:
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (make the sign of the Cross.) We offer this prayer to you O Lord with the specific intention to empty thyself. Veni Creator COME, O Creator Spirit blest, And in our souls take up Thy rest, Come with Thy grace and Heavenly aid, To fill the hearts which Thou hast made. Great Paraclete! To Thee we cry, O highest gift of God most high! O fount of life! O fire of love! And sweet anointing from above. Thou in Thy sevenfold gifts art known, The finger of God's hand we own; The promise of the Father, Thou! Who dost the tongue with power endow. Kindle our senses from above, And make our hearts over flow with love; With patience firm and virtues high, The weakness of our flesh supply. Far from us drive the foe we dread, And grant us Thy true peace instead; So shall we not, with Thee for guide, Turn from the path of life aside. And, may Thy grace on us bestow The Father and the Son to know, And Thee through endless times confessed Of both the Eternal Spirit blest. All glory while the ages run Be to the Father and the Son Who rose from death; the same to Thee, O Holy Spirit, eternally. Amen. Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament, pray for us. Laura
