Preparatory Mediation continued (not mandatory.) "WE ARE OBLIGED TO, IN ORDER TO CONTINUE IN THE GRACE OF OUR VOCATION AND PARTICIPATE FULLY IN IT, TO GIVE VERY SPECIAL HONOR TO THE BLESSED VIRGIN UNDER THE TITLE OF OUR LADY OF THE MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT." Page 2 "Without Mary, we shall never find Jesus, for she possesses Him in her heart." "We must never separate Jesus from Mary; we can go to Him only through her." "Our Lord owes everything through her in the order of His Incarnation." Strong statements of truth for those who believe! For those who do not understand the gift or Our Blessed Mother, may the Promise of the Father be revealed to them. God sent His Son by way of Mary very significantly and specifically. In simple terms the human family in the natural order of life needs a Mother. Life is better with a Mother, the comfort, the guidance, the gifts that come from a Mother are without end. At the foot of the Cross Our Lord gave us Mary, "Behold thy MOTHER." John 19:27 We hold the Promise of the Mother, for she will only bring us to her Son. There is no separation as St. Peter Julian directs our thoughts to Jesus and Mary being one by the way of the Incarnation. Mary received Jesus in her womb, she bore Him into the world by the Promise of the Father. She was made ONE by Receiving the BODY OF CHRIST in her being. We receive them both by our own reception of Holy Communion. Jesus in the Holy Trinity, Mary as the first entry into the Body, we are all part of the Mystical Body. The Father could have sent Jesus down from above yet knew our human needs and fulfilled them with the gift of Motherhood. Without time and effort placed in a relationship it remains unnourished we are blessed to renew our thanks for having a Mother. Our human frailty is greatly restored by the reception of Holy Communion, the Incarnation of Christ living in and through our own lives in the womb of Mary. Pray the Veni Creator. -Laura VENI CREATOR COME, O Creator Spirit blest, And in our souls take up Thy rest, Come with Thy grace and Heavenly aid, To fill the hearts which Thou hast made. Great Paraclete! To Thee we cry, O highest gift of God most high! O fount of life! O fire of love! And sweet anointing from above. Thou in Thy sevenfold gifts art known, The finger of God's hand we own; The promise of the Father, Thou! Who dost the tongue with power endow. Kindle our senses from above, And make our hearts over flow with love; With patience firm and virtues high, The weakness of our flesh supply. Far from us drive the foe we dread, And grant us Thy true peace instead; So shall we not, with Thee for guide, Turn from the path of life aside. And, may Thy grace on us bestow The Father and the Son to know, And Thee through endless times confessed Of both the Eternal Spirit blest. All glory while the ages run Be to the Father and the Son Who rose from death; the same to Thee, O Holy Spirit, eternally. Amen.
